Training Coordinator - Perth

 

An opportunity has arisen for a Training Coordinator to join the IMS team, based in the Perth office, reporting to the IMS Manager. You will be responsible for processing training requests, liaising with training providers and awarding bodies, organising training events and coordinating attendees.

 

 

 

The successful applicant should be an enthusiastic team player who is flexible, with a disciplined approach to data management, excellent communication skills and keen to develop and committed to ensuring the timely delivery of all training needs.

 

 

 

Experience within a similar post is preferable.

1.         Job Purpose:

 

The Training Co-ordinator is a permanent post within the IMS department to provide a centralised service for the co-ordination of training, management of training records and production of performance reports across the business.

     

 

 

 

 

2.         Responsibilities and Activities:

 

 

·      

·      Coordinating the training for all employees

 

·      Responsible for coordination and administration with staff and supply chain providers

 

·      Maintaining training calendars

 

·      Liaising with Managers to ensure attendance of planned training events

 

·      Ensure accurate records are maintained within the management system and communicated across the business

 

·      Conducting comprehensive evaluation of all training and production of quarterly report

 

·      Identification of funding / grants / developments in relation to training

 

·      Liaison with awarding bodies, e.g CITB, Lantra, CSCS, etc

 

·      Identification and processing of grant claims

 

·      Production and issue of training certificates / skills cards

 

·      Support with business process and documentation creation, implementation and control

 

·      Production of monthly training report including training completed, planned for month ahead and evaluation of training completed in previous month

 

·      Maintain approved training supply chain register

 

·      Ability to work to timescales

3.         Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

 

 

 

·         Project a professional company image

 

·         Previous administration experience is essential preferably within a Learning and Development environment

 

·         Excellent IT skills, particularly MS Excel, Word and Powerpoint

 

·         Knowledge of budgets

 

·         Excellent communication skills including report writing

 

 

·         Ability to plan and organise

 

 

·         Capable to self-manage work and self-motivate
