This is an exciting opportunity to be part of the team that manages and improves one of the most scenic and challenging trunk road network in Scotland.

We are looking for a Strategic Planning & Delivery Manager to join us to work in our Perth office, involving travel across the network we operate and maintain.

What you'll be doing

As, Strategic Planning & Delivery Manager, you will be:

• Promoting excellence in Health & Safety across all our sites;
• Managing supervision of construction works on site;
• Liaising with the Roads and Bridges teams and routine and cyclic teams to assist in the coordination of all activities to optimise the use of Road Space, in order to improve efficiency;
• Attending planning and coordination meetings;
• Monitoring the use of subcontractors against programme;
• Managing the collation of Scheme records and liaising with Asset team.

Who we're looking for

You will:
• Have a degree qualification in Civil Engineering or Construction Management;
• Preferably be a Chartered member of a related professional discipline;
• Have proven planning experience;
• Have knowledge of highways maintenance activities including roads and bridges;
• Have good communications skills;
• Be self-motivated, able to work autonomously;
• Have the ability to develop relationships;
• Be flexible and mobile (travelling expected).
