Incident Liaison Officer

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Incident Liaison Officer to join the Control Room team and play a pivotal role in the day to day management of incident response and winter maintenance activities on our trunk roads.


Duties will involve liaising with the emergency services and trunk road incident support units, deployment of incident response and winter maintenance resources, monitoring forecasts and emerging weather conditions, updating databases and record keeping.


There is a requirement to work in a shift pattern as the control room is active 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Candidates must have excellent communication skills and be computer literate.  Ideally, you will have a level of further education and record of continuous training within your previous roles.  Experience in an emergency/Roads Authority Control Room environment is desirable.
