BEAR Scotland, acting on behalf of Transport Scotland, is set to start rock slope remediation works at five locations within the North West Unit on Tuesday 5 March. Please find below location plan which details the work locations.
The project is scheduled to begin on Tuesday 5 March for up to three weeks, between the hours of 8am to 6pm, Monday to Sunday. Temporary traffic lights will be in place to protect road workers as well as road users during the improvements.
These essential works will involve safe removal of loose rock and debris on various rock slopes above the trunk road. Please see full programme below:

BEAR Scotland has been working with all relevant stakeholders to inform them of the project and share information about the traffic management that will be in place.
