Motorists using the A9 through Inshes and Bogbain junctions are set to benefit from drainage improvements, with works to get underway on Monday 11 July.
The improvements are scheduled to take place over 15 nights, with works to take place between 8pm and 6am each night. No works are planned to take place on Saturday and Sunday nights and completion of the improvements is expected by 6am on Saturday 30 July.
Works will take place as follows:
The road closures will be removed outwith working hours; however, warning signs may remain in place to advise of the presence of the work site.
Eddie Ross, BEAR Scotland’s North West Representative, said: “These essential drainage works on the A9 at the Inshes and Bogbain junctions will greatly improve the quality and safety of the road for all users.
“The planned closures are essential to keep roadworkers and motorists safe during the works. We have taken steps to minimise disruption by carrying out the works overnight and by removing traffic management outwith working hours.
“We thank motorists for their patience in advance and would also encourage them to plan ahead before setting out by checking the Traffic Scotland website for up to date travel information.”
