Updated 13 March 2025: Due to changes to the programme, surfacing on the A82 North of Crianlarich will now be completed on Friday 25 April. Please see updated information below in red.
BEAR Scotland, on behalf of Transport Scotland, is set to carry out essential surfacing works on the A82 North of Crainlarich.
These works will take place between the hours of 7am and 7pm each working day from Tuesday 11 March. No works will be carried out at the weekends or during the Easter break from Monday 14 April. Works resume on Tuesday 22 April and are due to be completed by Friday 25 April.
To protect road users, pedestrians, and roadworkers, temporary two way traffic lights and a 10mph convoy will be in place during working hours. To allow materials to cool properly, two-way traffic lights will also be in place between 7pm and 7am from Thursday 13 March until Friday 11 April.
Ian Stewart, BEAR Scotland’s North West Representative, said “These essential resurfacing works will upgrade the existing road surface, greatly improving the quality and safety for road users.
“Our teams will do all they can to complete the works as quickly and safely as they can, and we thank the local community and road users for their patience in advance while we complete these works.
“We encourage motorists to plan ahead before setting out by checking the Traffic Scotland website for up-to-date travel information.”
