Roadworks are scheduled on the A68 in Pathhead on the nights of Tuesday 11 and Wednesday 12 February, to allow ironwork improvements to be completed.
The road will remain open to traffic, however temporary traffic lights will be in place between 19:30 and 06:00.
Transport Scotland’s operating company BEAR Scotland is managing the works.
Tommy Deans, BEAR Scotland’s South East Network Manager, said: “We’ll do what we can to mitigate noise disruption to local residents, including completing the noisiest operations by 11pm each night.
“We thank the local community for their patience while these essential improvements are completed.”
All work is weather dependent and subject to postponement in the event of adverse conditions.
