Temporary traffic lights will be in place on the A68 in Pathhead on the nights of 19 and 20 November, to allow ironwork improvements to be completed following recent resurfacing.
Transport Scotland’s operating company BEAR Scotland will carry out the works between the hours of 19:30 and 06:00.
Tommy Deans, BEAR Scotland’s South East Network Manager, said: “We’re grateful to the local community for their patience while these essential improvements are completed.
“We’ll do what we can to mitigate noise disruption to residents, including completing the noisiest operations by 11pm each night.”
All work is weather dependent and subject to postponement in the event of adverse conditions.
