A83 AT REST AND BE THANKFUL: A83 RE-OPENS FOLLOWING MONDAY MORNING INSPECTION

Please be advised that the A83 has now reopened to traffic under convoy control following the completion of a morning inspection of the hillside.

With further periods of rainfall expected in the coming days, our teams will continue to have a presence on site and will be monitoring hillside conditions and the weather closely.

Further rainfall is forecast in the area over the coming days, and further updates will be issued by exception where there is a need to divert traffic from the A83 to the Old Military Road local diversion route.
