• As a precaution, A83 traffic will therefore be diverted onto the Old Military Road from 7pm tonight.
• A83 will re-open to traffic on Thursday 2 February subject to outcomes of the morning inspection.

Given updated forecast received today for increased and persistent heavy overnight rainfall, traffic will be diverted onto the Old Military Road Local Diversion Route from 7pm today.

The A83 will then reopen to traffic on Thursday 2 February subject to the outcome of a morning inspection of the hillside.

Our team continues to have a presence on site and are monitoring conditions closely. A further update will be issued if there is any change to the above traffic management arrangement.
