A83 AT REST AND BE THANKFUL TRAFFIC ARRANGENTS MONDAY 31 OCTOBER

• Convoy control on the A83 will continue until 8pm today
• From 8pm traffic signal control will be in place

Motorists are advised that traffic at the Rest and Be Thankful will continue to operate on the A83 under convoy control until 8pm today. Traffic signal control will then be in place overnight, due to the improving weather forecast.

Given the subsequent forecast for unsettled weather and further rain later in the week, it is anticipated further periods of convoy control may be required.

Our team continues to have a presence on site and are monitoring conditions closely.  A further update will be issued if the weather forecast or hillside conditions mean a change to the traffic management arrangement is needed.
