A9 CARRIAGEWAY IMPROVEMENTS BETWEEN GUAY AND BALLINLUIG

  • Carriageway works start on Sunday 27 April

BEAR Scotland, on behalf of Traffic Scotland, is set to start essential road improvement works in two locations on the A9 single carriageway between Guay and Ballinluig, beginning on the night of Sunday 27 April.

 

The project involves resurfacing as well as upgrading road markings on a total of 1.8km on the A9 single carriageway south of Ballinluig with works expected to be completed by 6am on Saturday 3 May.

Temporary traffic lights with a 10mph convoy system will be in place between 7pm and 6am for the duration of the works. In addition, a reduced speed limit will be setup on approach to the site. These traffic managements measure will be removed outwith working hours.

Access through the works sites for emergency services will be maintained at all times.
