The leading road maintenance company supported 32 charities, including its charity partner of the year, Alzheimer Scotland, which runs support and services throughout Scotland to help those living with dementia.
Additionally, some 14 community groups and initiatives have also benefited from BEAR’s assistance including Bayside Football Club and Letham Football Club which used funds to purchase kit, and Eyemouth Allotments which requested funds to get equipment.
Joanna Buggy, BEAR Scotland Engagement Manager, leads the company’s Corporate Social Responsibility team and says:
“As a company we’ve always been committed to playing a positive role in the communities in which we operate. This year we’ve continued to pull together, working with the charities and community groups to make a real impact where it matters the most. It’s a true team effort that has delivered for worthy causes throughout the country.”
