BEAR Scotland, one of the Scotland’s leading road maintenance companies, will continue to manage and maintain trunk roads across the North West of Scotland after being named as the Preferred Bidder of Transport Scotland’s new Network Management Contract.
This means BEAR Scotland retains responsibility for over 1,422km of trunk roads across the North West of Scotland until at least 2030 with the option of a potential four year extension. The company has been responsible for the North West trunk roads since 2013.
BEAR Scotland currently operates in the North West, North East as well as the South East of Scotland which includes responsibility of the iconic Queensferry Crossing and Forth Road Bridge.
