Overnight carriageway repairs on the southbound A1 at Abbotsview Junction are planned for the night of Friday 4 February.
The work will take place between 20:00 and 06:30. During these hours, traffic will be diverted off the A1 at Abbotsview Junction via the southbound off-slip road then back on again via the southbound on-slip road.
Tommy Deans, BEAR Scotland’s Network Manager for the South East, said: “A carriageway closure is necessary to allow us to repair the carriageway safely, however the diversion is short so we don’t expect these works to cause any significant delays to traffic.”
The work is weather dependent and subject to postponement in the event of adverse conditions.
