Overnight roadworks Friday 21 March 2025
Overnight roadworks to repair defects in the carriageway will be in place on the M8 westbound at Junction 3A, between 20:30 and 06:00 on the night of Friday 21 March.
Westbound traffic will be diverted off the motorway at Junction 3A, over Starlaw West Roundabout and then immediately back onto the motorway, adding approximately 1 minute and 0.1 miles to affected journeys.
Access for emergency vehicles will be maintained at all times.
Tommy Deans, BEAR Scotland’s South East Network Manager, said: “We carried out repairs at this location earlier this month, however more extensive work is required.
“In order for us to carry out these works safely we need to close the carriageway, however as the diversion is relatively short and the work is being done at night, we don’t expect this to cause any significant delays.”
