DAYTIME DRAINAGE INVESTIGATIONS AT A828 ROSEBANK, APPIN

  • Two days of drainage investigations starting Monday 24 March

  • Two-way traffic lights with convoy between 8am and 4pm

 

BEAR Scotland, on behalf of Transport Scotland will be carrying out essential drainage Investigation works at Rosebank, Appin on the A828, with works planned to commence on Monday 24 March.

 

Investigations will be carried out between the hours of 8am and 4pm and are expected to be completed by Tuesday 25 March.

 

Due to the nature of the works, temporary two-way traffic lights will be in place with a convoy system to protect the workforce and road users. Traffic management will be removed outwith working hours.

 

Access through the worksite for emergency vehicles will be maintained at all times.

 

Ian Stewart, BEAR Scotland’s Northwest Unit Representative said; “These essential drainage investigation works on the A828 at Rosebank, Appin will provide valuable information and help establish the layout of underground drainage assets.

 

“Our teams will do all they can to complete the works as quickly and safely as possible, and we thank the local community and road users for their patience in advance while we complete these works. We encourage road users to plan ahead before setting out by checking the Traffic Scotland website for up-to-date travel information.”
