Transport Scotland’s operating company, BEAR Scotland is set to carry out overnight repair works on a roadside safety barrier on the M9 eastbound off-slip at Junction 1A, which joins the M90 northbound towards Perth and Dundee.
On the night of Monday 2 September between 20:30 and 06:00, a diversion will be in place for eastbound traffic on the M9 wishing to join the M90 northbound. Instead of taking the M9 Junction 1A eastbound off-slip, traffic should carry on to Newbridge Roundabout, then return back to exit at the Junction 1A westbound off-slip.
Access for emergency vehicles will be maintained at all times.
Tommy Deans, BEAR Scotland’s South East Network Manager, said: “We thank road users in advance for their patience while we carry out these essential safety works.
“The diversion is essential to ensure the safety of workers and road users. We have planned the works to take place overnight to minimise disruption.”
Consultation has been carried out with emergency services and relevant stakeholders to share information about the project in advance.
