BEAR Scotland is committed to supporting its strong graduate community to build their industry experience, extend their professional qualifications and progress in their careers.

It was therefore important and well worthwhile to bring together graduates for a dedicated face to face event in May for the first time since COVID restrictions prevented us getting together.

There were various sessions throughout the day underlining the opportunity for career development within BEAR alongside commercial and business development sessions. A key theme was the focus on their roles as future leaders, working together, to drive improvement.

Additionally, the graduate cohort was divided into eight groups. They were given practical challenges and also tasked with identifying potential areas for improvement within the business. The latter exercise resulted in working groups being set up to take forward specific themes.
