A series of overnight carriageway closures on the M80 and M73 are set to get under way on Monday 11 November, to allow teams to carry out essential surfacing repairs safely.
Closures will take place overnight between 20:00 and 06:00, on the M80 mainline carriageway between Junctions 2 and 6, and the M73 mainline carriageway near Junction 3.
Teams will work in phases over an eighteen-day period, moving on to the next section in the programme once repairs are completed at each location.
Signed diversions will be in place when necessary.
Provisional dates, locations and diversion routes for these closures are listed below. It should be noted that these dates are subject to change in the event of adverse weather or operational requirements:

Commenting on the works, Carnie Morrison, Highway Management (Scotland) Limited General Manager, said: “These essential maintenance works are being carried out overnight when traffic flows are reduced to minimise delays to motorists as much as possible.
“Carriageway closures are vital to ensure the safety of the workforce and motorists, however we will look to complete these works as quickly and safely as possible.
