BEAR Scotland, on behalf of Transport Scotland, will be carrying out work to upgrade the Connel Bridge on the A828, with improvements to the lighting columns and carriageway resurfacing set to start on the 7th of December.
Following feedback from the local community about a conflicting event taking place on the evening of the 8th of December, works to the Connel Bridge which were due to take place between 2000 and 0600 will now be carried out between midnight and 0600 on the 9th of December. There will be a full closure in place from midnight on the 9th of December until 0600 that morning, but there will now be amnesties at 0200 and 0400.
