September 10, 2024

UPDATE: Due to subcontractor availability works on the A84 Kildean and Craigforth Roundabouts will now start on Sunday 22 September. New dates below.

  • Road surface repairs begin on Sunday 22 September

  • Night time lane closures in place 8pm to 3am

BEAR Scotland, on behalf of Transport Scotland, are set to carry out carriageway repairs on the A84 in Stirling between Kildean and Craigforth roundabouts from Sunday 22 September.

These improvements will take place between 8pm and 3am each day and works will be completed by 3am on Monday 30 September.

To ensure the safety of roadworkers and road users, the roundabouts and all approaches will be reduced to a single lane between 8pm and 3am each night. These lane closures will be removed outwith working hours to minimise disruption to the public.

Ian Stewart, BEAR Scotland’s North West Representative said: “This carriageway improvement project on the A84 will help address defects and improve road safety.

“Our teams will do all they can to complete the works as quickly and safely as they can, and we thank the local community and road users for their patience in advance while we complete these projects.

“We encourage motorists to plan ahead before setting out by checking the Traffic Scotland website for up-to-date travel information.”
