One lane on the roundabout at M8 Junction 4 will be closed from 20:00 until 06:00 each night from Monday 15 March to Friday 26 March.
This is to allow Transport Scotland’s operating company BEAR Scotland to carry out essential inspection work on the M8 Whitburn underbridge.
No diversion is required as one lane will remain open at all times during these works.
Consultation has been undertaken with West Lothian Council about the requirement for lane closures through the Scottish Road Works Register.
Strict physical distancing protocols, in line with Scottish Government guidance, will be in place to protect teams and ensure they remain safe on site.
