BEAR Scotland, on behalf of Transport Scotland, will be carrying out resurfacing on the A87 in two locations around Portree from Tuesday 22 April with works being carried out overnight, Monday to Friday.
To ensure the safety of the workforce and members of the travelling public, the A87 will be closed in both directions between 7pm and 5am each night with hourly amnesties to allow waiting vehicles to be escorted through the site.

During the Braes Junction works, the north junction at the B883 will be closed and the south junction will remain open at all times.
Traffic management will be removed outwith working hours however, a reduced speed limit may remain in place, as traffic will be travelling over a temporary surface.
Access for emergency services and bus timetables will be maintained for the full duration of the works.
