A programme of overnight resurfacing works on four different areas of the M90 trunk road around Junction 1 Scotstoun is due to commence on the night of Monday 23 February.
Transport Scotland’s operating company BEAR Scotland will carry out the works over two phases, with two projects to be completed on the nights of 23 to 26 January and a further two projects to be completed on the nights of 7 to 10 February.
Carriageway closures with signed diversion routes will be in place between 20:00 and 06:00 each night, as shown in the table below:

The areas to be resurfaced are the A90 southbound carriageway from Scotstoun to Dalmeny, and three areas on the M90 northbound and southbound carriageways, south of Junction 1 Scotstoun.
BEAR Scotland’s South East Network Manager Tommy Deans said: “These essential resurfacing works will provide smoother and safer road surfaces on the trunk roads around M90 Junction 1 Scotstoun.
“Carriageway closures are essential for the safety of road users and the workforce during these works, however we’ve scheduled them to take place overnight to minimise any disruption.
“if you need to travel on this route over the next few weeks, our advice is to plan ahead and allow extra time for your journey if necessary.
“We’re grateful to road users for their patience and understanding.”
Consultation has been carried out with emergency services and other relevant stakeholders to share information about the project in advance.
All work is weather dependent and subject to postponement in the event of adverse conditions.
