A surfacing project covering three locations on the A84 trunk road between Stirling and Strathyre is set to begin from Thursday 14 April at 7pm.
Works in proximity to Black Dub Farm and to the north of Creag Chrom are programmed to take place between Thursday 14 April and Thursday 21 April, from 7pm and 7am each night. No work is planned on Friday or Saturday night. All works are expected to be complete by 7am Thursday 21 April.
To protect motorists as well as roadworkers, a 10mph convoy system will be in place during the works. The convoy system will be removed outwith working; however, a temporary 30mph speed restriction will remain in place as traffic will be travelling over a temporary surface.
The resurfacing works are planned to take place as follows:
Eddie Ross, BEAR Scotland’s Representative for the North West, said: “This programme of surfacing work on the A84 will help address any defects in the road surface at three locations, creating a safer and smoother journey for road users.
“The traffic management required for this work is essential to keep everyone safe, however our teams will do everything they can to keep disruption to a minimum.
“We advise all road users to plan their journeys in advance by checking Traffic Scotland for up to date journey information.”
