Outwith these hours traffic management will be removed however, a 30mph speed limit will remain in place, as traffic will be travelling over a temporary surface.

In order to protect the workforce and the travelling public, the A82 will be closed in both directions each night between 7pm and 5am. During periods of closure, amnesties at 8pm, 9pm, 10pm, 11pm, 12pm, 2am and 4am will allow waiting vehicles to be escorted through the site.

Ian Stewart, BEAR Scotland’s North West Representative, said “These essential resurfacing works will upgrade the existing road surface, greatly improving the quality and safety for road users. The refreshed road markings will also improve visability to enhance road safety.

“We thank motorists for their patience ahead of these road improvements.”
