Overnight works to renew road markings on the northbound carriageway of the A1 between Dolphingstone and Wallyford are planned on Friday 28 January.
The work will take place between 19:30 and 06:00. During these hours, traffic using the northbound A1 will be diverted from Dolphingstone Junction to Wallyford Junction via the A199 and the A6094.
Tommy Deans, BEAR Scotland’s Network Manager for the South East, said: “A carriageway closure is necessary to allow us to renew these road markings safely, however we’ve scheduled the works at night to minimise disruption and we’ll aim to get the job completed as quickly as possible.”
The work is weather dependent and subject to postponement in the event of adverse conditions.
