BEAR Scotland Ltd, working on behalf of Claymore Roads, is scheduled to complete resurfacing works on five sections of the A92 between Dundee and Arbroath, from Sunday 30 July to Friday 18 August.
The works will take place between 7pm and 7am, with no works on Saturdays. For safety reasons, there will be lane closures with a 10mph speed limit – details of locations and dates below. Outside these hours traffic management will be removed. No work will take place on Sunday 6 August or Monday 7 August to support the UCI Cycling World Championships event.
Ethiebeaton to Ardestie (Eastbound Carriageway) – 30 July to 01 August
Lane closures with 10mph convoy each night.
Elliot to Arbroath (Single Carriageway section) 02 August to 09 August
Lane closures with 10mph and 2 way Temporary Traffic Lights each night
Panmurefield to Balgillo (Westbound Carriageway) – 10 August
Lane closures with 10mph convoy.
Upper Victoria to Ardestie (Westbound Carriageway) – 11 August
Lane closures with 10mph convoy.
Balgillo Roundabout to Claypotts (Westbound Carriageway) 13 August to 18 August
Lane closures with 10mph convoy each night.
Eddie Ross, BEAR Scotland’s representative for the A92, said “These essential resurfacing works, funded by Claymore Roads, will upgrade the existing road surface, greatly improving the quality and safety for road users.
