The southbound carriageway of the M9 south of Plean will be closed for resurfacing between 19:30 and 06:00 on the nights of Thursday 23 and Friday 24 June.
Transport Scotland’s operating company BEAR Scotland plans to renew approximately 1.2 kilometres of carriageway.
A clearly signed diversion route will be in place from M9 Junction 9, with southbound traffic directed via the M80 and M876 to re-join the M9 at Junction 8.
All traffic management will be removed outwith working hours and access for emergency vehicles will be maintained at all times.
Consultation has been carried out with emergency services and other relevant stakeholders to make them aware of the plans in advance.
Tommy Deans, BEAR Scotland’s South East Network Manager, said: “These surfacing improvements will greatly improve the surface for motorists using this stretch of the M9.
“We thank motorists and the local community in advance for their patience while we carry out this project. We’ll do all we can to complete the work as quickly and safely as possible.”
