Please be advised that works which were due to get underway on Wednesday 3 May on the A9 at Geiselittle will now begin on Monday 1 May, as a resurfacing scheme on the A9 at Ousdale will be completed ahead of schedule.
The £105,000 improvements at Geiselittle will see BEAR Scotland, Transport Scotland’s operating company, resurface 505m of carriageway.
To ensure the safety of roadworkers and motorists, a 10mph convoy system will be in place from 7am to 7pm each day. The convoy system will be removed outside working hours, but a 30mph speed limit will remain in place as traffic will be travelling over a temporary surface. All surfacing works will be completed by 7pm on Wednesday 3 May, subject to weather conditions.
