ROAD MARKING IMPROVEMENTS ON THE A702

September 13, 2024

  • Overnight road closures until 4 October 2024

BEAR Scotland, acting on behalf of Transport Scotland, is carrying out a programme of road marking improvements on the A702 trunk road between Abington Roundabout and Hillend.

The works will continue in four phases until the night of 4 October. There will be no work on Saturday and Sunday nights or the night of Monday 30 September.

The improvement package includes road marking and stud replacement works, resurfacing works from Overburns to Coulter and in Coulter Village, concrete asphalt reinstatement around iron works from Damhead to Hillend and investigation works North of Flotterstone.
