As part of our new South East winter fleet, we have 21 brand new, orange, 32-tonne gritters, all requiring a name!

All primary and ASN schools across the south east of Scotland have been invited to take part in winter competitions to name one of our new gritters and to come up with an eye catching logo to help drivers remember their winter-ready car essentials.

Pupils can participate in either or both competitions. All information on how to enter the competitions as well as some quick introduction and lesson ideas are contained in the attached file.

Closing date for all entries is Friday 23 October 2020 at midnight.
