Due to an updated weather forecast, surfacing improvements which were set to begin on Monday 12 December at the A82 Loch Linnhe picnic area have been postponed by one day. The works will now begin on Tuesday 13 December.
The project is scheduled to take three days to complete, with works taking place between the hours of 7am and 7pm each day. All works are anticipated to be complete by 7pm on Thursday 15 December, subject to weather conditions.
To ensure the safety of roadworkers as well as motorists, a 10mph convoy system will be in place during working hours. The convoy system will be removed outside of working hours, but a 30mph speed limit will remain in place as traffic will be travelling over a temporary surface. Access through the works site for emergency services will be maintained at all times.
