On behalf of Transport Scotland, BEAR Scotland will be carrying out essential surfacing improvements on the A82 North of Torlundy with two nights of works starting on Wednesday 23 October.
The project will see a new surface laid on the carriageway of the A82 at Torlundy, creating a smoother and safer surface for road users.
The project will take place over two nights between the hours of 7pm and 7am each night, and will be completed by the morning of Friday 25 October.
To protect the workforce and road users, there will be a lane closure with a 10 mph convoy system in place. This traffic management will be removed outwith working hours to keep disruption to a minimum, however a speed restriction of 30mph will remain in place during working hours as traffic will be running over a temporary surface.
Consultation has taken place with all relevant stakeholders in advance of the surfacing improvements to make them aware of the traffic management arrangements.
