On behalf of Transport Scotland, BEAR Scotland will be carrying out survey works to locate underground services on the A82 Glenurquhart Road, Inverness. These works, scheduled for four days from Monday 12 February between 9.30am and 3.30pm, are required to inform the design of active travel improvements planned for later this year.
To protect roadworkers and motorists there will be temporary traffic lights in place during working hours.
Ian Stewart, BEAR Scotland’s North West Representative said: “These investigation works at A82 Glenurquhart Road will help to record and map underground services. Our teams will use this information in the design of future active travel works as well as to improve site safety for our workforce.
“Our teams will do all they can to complete the works as quickly and safely as they can, and we thank the local community and road users for their patience in advance while we complete these works.”
