Further to a hillside inspection and review of updated forecast and saturation levels, traffic has returned to the A83 at the Rest and Be Thankful under temporary traffic lights. A morning inspection of the A83 identified a carriageway defect that must be repaired before full reopening of A83, with traffic lights removed.
Our team continues to have a presence on site and are monitoring conditions closely at the Rest and be Thankful and Glen Kinglas.
A further update will be provided if there is any change to the above arrangement.
