A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join BEAR Scotland’s SE bridges team as a Fab Welder.
The South East Unit includes 870 bridges and structures including the iconic Queensferry Crossing and Forth Road Bridge, as well as other major bridges such as the Kincardine Bridge and Clackmannanshire Bridge. Trunk roads in the South East serve as a vital link for Scotland’s economy, ensuring thousands of daily journeys and deliveries are carried out safely.
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Fabrication Welder to join the Major Bridges Maintenance Team. The post holder will carry out cyclic maintenance, repairs, fabrication, and welding duties as part of a comprehensive maintenance team. The role is of a craft nature and as such the post holder should be time served or appropriately qualified tradesperson from an engineering discipline.
This is a full-time role.
