BEAR Scotland manage and maintain over 2,500km of Scotland’s trunk road network, within the South East. BEAR has responsibility for over 750 bridges and structures including the iconic Forth Road Bridge and Queensferry Crossing, as well as other major bridges such as the Kincardine Bridge and Clackmannanshire Bridge.

We have opportunities for Graduate Bridge Engineers in our project management and design teams across our South East Unit. The roles are based in our Queensferry, Bonnyrigg and Burghmuir offices. Candidates should hold a degree in Civil or Structural Engineering. Previous work experience is not required but would be beneficial. BEAR can offer competitive salaries and a graduate training scheme accredited by the Institution of Civil Engineers.
Our Graduate Engineers will assist our experienced teams delivering multi-million-pound schemes during the feasibility, design, procurement and construction of roads and bridge refurbishment and strengthening. This is an excellent opportunity for any Graduate Engineer to develop their design and Project Management experience.
