BEAR Scotland, on behalf of Transport Scotland will be carrying out essential repairs on a section of the Millennium Wall at Tarbert Road, South of Ardrishaig on the A83, with works planned to commence on Monday 11 November for three days.
The works will take place between 8am and 4pm each day and are due to be completed by 4pm on Wednesday 13 November.
Due to the nature of the works and to protect both road users and workers, two-way temporary traffic lights will be in place. It may also be necessary to close sections of the footway at certain times, with diversions around the work area in place for pedestrians to ensure their safety.
Access through the worksite for emergency vehicles will be maintained at all times.
Ian Stewart, BEAR Scotland’s North West Representative said; “These works are essential to repair a section of the Millennium Wall.
“Our teams will do all they can to complete the works as quickly and safely as they can, and we thank the local community and road users for their patience in advance while we complete these works.”
